About the Pastor

 

Dr. Decker H. Tapscott, Sr.

For over 30 years Dr. Decker Tapscott has been igniting revival fire across the nation and around the world. His prophetic preaching and teaching transcends racial, generational and denominational barriers.

 Dr. Tapscott walks in the prophetic office and operates strongly in the prophetic gifts with evident signs and wonders. He has been a spiritual father to many and has assisted many pastors in developing strong vision for their local church. His vision is to see men and women, young and old, impacted by the life-changing power of the Word of God, so that the indwelling presence of God brings the transformation necessary for kingdom service.

Dr. Tapscott is the founder and senior pastor of Faith Christian Church and International Outreach Center - a fast -growing, multicultural church that lies on the outskirts of the town of Warrenton, Virginia. In addition, Dr. Tapscott has served on several boards of organizations and is currently the Chairman of Gospel Invasions World Wide. He is also a frequent speaker in conference gatherings, both in the U.S. and abroad.

 In Addition, Dr. Tapscott is the overseer of The Fellowship of Prophetic Churches & Ministries; an apostolic equipping and sending ministry that provide support, encouragement and mentoring to local pastors through biblical fathering. Furthermore, through covenant relationships, “The Fellowship” has provided spiritual covering to pastors and local churches around the country.

 Dr. Tapscott is a graduate of Logos Christian College and Graduate Schools, located in Jacksonville, Florida where he received his Doctorate of Ministry Degree. He has appeared on several cable television stations, including – The Inspiration Network, The Word Network, Christian Television Network, and PAX Television. Currently, his television broadcast, “The Word of Faith”, can be seen on local television cable outlets in the Virginia area and his video streaming channel FaithCC-TV on the Sermon Network. He has written two books, “Let Us Make Man” and “So Run”.

Dr. Tapscott has six adult children and resides with his wife, Delores, in Warrenton, Virginia.
